BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Ministry of Industry has allocated 20 billion dinars to rehabilitate Baghdad Cigarettes Factory, with expectations that it will cover 10% of Iraqi’s needs.

Ministry sources that these amounts were accumulated and allocated gradually since 2010, with the aim of developing company’s work and taking into consideration health matters.

The sources added that the completion of the first stage of the project, the company will cover 10% of Iraq market needs.

20 billion Iraqi dinars to rebuild a cigarette factory. That’s a lot of dinars.

But who is going to say $17,000,000 USD is a lot of money? I will when it’s used to rehabilitate a factory that is going to drive up disease and death rates.

Second thought, it will have a positive distributive impact on expanding the healthcare system……HK
